Day 1: Arrival in Florence – A Cultural Welcome

After landing in Florence, you are in the heart of Tuscany. The city welcomes you with cobbled streets, Renaissance buildings, and that unmistakable golden light. After checking into the hotel and shaking off the jet lag, you set out for your first walk. Standing in Piazza del Duomo, you can’t stop staring at the magnificent Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery. Later, a short ride up to Piazzale Michelangelo where you will enjoy your first breathtaking view of Florence’s skyline at sunset. Dinner is your first taste of true Tuscan cooking: of course, a juicy bistecca alla Fiorentina.

  • Check into your hotel and take some time to rest after your journey.
  • Evening stroll through Piazza del Duomo: admire Florence Cathedral, Giotto’s Bell Tower, and the Baptistery of San Giovanni.
  • Private transfer to Piazzale Michelangelo for a breathtaking sunset over Florence’s skyline.
  • Dinner featuring traditional Tuscan dishes such as ribollita or bistecca alla Fiorentina.
  • Overnight stay in Florence

Day 2: Art and Life in Florence

This morning, we will enjoy a guided tour through the city’s squares and winding streets, learning little stories that brought Florence to life. At the Accademia Gallery, you finally stood face-to-face with Michelangelo’s David—so much more powerful than in photos. Lunch will be simple but unforgettable: handmade pasta, pecorino cheese, and a glass of Chianti. In the afternoon, you can wander at your own pace, browsing boutiques and soaking up the atmosphere. As the sun dipped, you can stroll across the Ponte Vecchio, watching the Arno shimmer under the evening light.

  • Morning guided walking tour: explore Florence’s piazzas and visit the Accademia Gallery to see Michelangelo’s David (skip-the-line tickets included).
  • Lunch at a local trattoria: fresh handmade pasta, artisanal cheeses, and Tuscan wines.
  • Afternoon at leisure for shopping or visiting historic markets like Mercato Centrale.
  • Evening stroll across the Ponte Vecchio with romantic river views.
  • Overnight stay in Florence

Day 3: Hidden Florence & a Sunset on the River

This morning, we will cross the river into the Oltrarno district, a part of Florence that feels more authentic and a little secretive. You peek into artisan workshops where craftsmen still work wood, leather, and gold by hand. The afternoon passed slowly, with coffee in a tiny piazza and no rush to be anywhere. In the evening, we will board a small boat for a sunset cruise on the Arno. With a glass of wine in hand, the city looks even more magical from the water. Dinner later will be paired with Tuscan wines (or rooftop terrace overlooking the city lights), a perfect prelude to what awaits us in the countryside.

  • Explore the Oltrarno district, home to hidden masterpieces and artisan workshops.
  • Free time in the afternoon for coffee in a local piazza or independent sightseeing.
  • Sunset Arno River cruise with aperitivo.
  • Dinner with wine pairings, setting the mood for the culinary experiences to come.
  • Overnight stay in Florence

Day 4: Depart for Tuscany - Cooking Class, and San Gimignano

This morning, we will journey into Tuscany for a group cooking class—kneading fresh pasta, rolling dough, and finally sitting down to a 3-course lunch with wine. Full and happy, we move on to San Gimignano, a hilltop town of medieval towers and cobbled lanes. A creamy gelato in hand, you can wander until the late afternoon.

  • Depart Florence for the Tuscan countryside.
  • Hands-on cooking class: prepare fresh pasta and enjoy a wine-paired lunch.
  • Continue to San Gimignano: stroll its medieval streets and enjoy world-famous gelato.
  • Overnight stay in Chianti Classico

Day 5: The Hills and Castles of Chianti and Siena’s Charm

The rolling green hills of Chianti open before you today, dotted with vineyards and olive groves. You can visit an old Chianti Castle with gorgeous views before enjoying and visiting a family-owned winery, where you can taste Chianti Classico wines paired with local pecorino cheese, salami, a pasta dish with dessert —the perfect match. After this rustic lunch, you continue and arrive in Siena. Standing in Piazza del Campo, you could almost hear the echo of the Palio horse race that animates the city every summer.

  • Journey through the rolling hills of the Chianti wine region.
  • Visit to a Chianti Castle
  • Visit a family-run winery for Chianti Classico tasting with rustic lunch paired with wines
  • Explore Siena: stroll through the City and Piazza del Campo
  • Overnight stay in Chianti Classico

Day 6: Val d’Orcia, a Postcard Come Alive

If Tuscany has a dreamlike soul, it’s here in the Val d’Orcia. Cypress-lined roads will guide you through rolling fields that stretch endlessly into the horizon. A tiny village and an extra Virgin Olive oil tasting will be your first stop. Lunch is planned in Pienza, a Renaissance jewel where you can taste sharp, fragrant pecorino cheese. Then came Montalcino, with the steep streets and landscapes that feel timeless, like stepping into a painting. A Wine tasting tour at a Brunello di Montalcino winery is a must before returning to the hotel. Here, you can toast our journey with a group farewell dinner

  • Full-day excursion to the Val d’Orcia (UNESCO site).
  • Pienza: taste pecorino cheese and admire Renaissance architecture.
  • Montalcino: wine tasting of the famous Brunello di Montalcino.
  • Return to the hotel for a farewell dinner in Chianti (Michelin star Restaurant)

Day 7: Arrivederci Toscana

On your last morning, you can take one last walk through the countryside, breathing in the scent of coffee and fresh bread from a café.  Tuscany isn’t the kind of place you really say goodbye to. Instead, I will leave with the feeling that I’ll return, someday, to this land of art, wine, and golden hills.31

  • Breakfast at the hotel
  • Free time for a final stroll
  • Private transfer to the airport
